Roxzanne J Amos, DMD (General Dentist)


Dr. Roxzanne Amos earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry in 1997. Energized about advances in all aspects of dentistry, she devotes more than 100 hours per year to state-of-the-art continuing education and has completed the core curriculum at the Dawson Academy. Dr. Amos also studies at the world-renown Pankey Institute which specializes in complex oral health evaluations and restorations as well as the Spear Institute. She is passionate about helping her patients improve their overall health through excellent dental care.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of General Dentistry.  Dr. Amos is an accreditation candidate in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

In the local community she educates hundreds of children in dental care annually during Dental Health Month, and volunteers at low income dental clinics. Dr. Amos grew up in Winter Park,  Florida. She moved Virginia Beach in 2003 when the US Navy assigned her husband, Mike, to NAS Oceana.  They enjoyed the area so much, when her husband retired from the Navy, they decided to stay and raise their family.  They now reside in Virginia Beach with their  son Luke and their yellow lab mix, “TJ”. Dr Amos enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends, being an active member of her church, and focusing on health and fitness activities.

Suzanne (Dental Hygienist)


Suzanne was born into a Dental Family and raised in Smithville, Tennessee. She worked in her father's dental office throughout High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree from East Tennessee State University, and was licensed as a Dental Hygienist in 1979.

Suzanne married an Army Officer in 1980, and their family adventure took them across the country and to Europe. While her husband was serving in the Federal Republic of Germany, she was a Department of the Army Civilian Dental Hygienist, at the local Army Dental Clinic, helping to ensure the Dental Readiness of his soldiers. While in Maryland, she worked for the US Public Health Service caring for Coast Guard Personnel at Curtis Bay, Maryland. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 42 years. 

Suzanne considers her Christian faith as the center of her life, and brings her joy and optimism to her practice every day.

She believes Dental Hygiene is an important part of everyone's overall health and feels honored to be part of her patient's life journey, achieving their brighest, healthiest smiles at Bright Life Dentistry.

In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, quilting, and reading. She also enjoys outdoor time with her family, and has lived in Virginia Beach for six years. 

 

Tracey (Dental Hygienist)


Tracey describes herself as a wife, mother, passionate dental hygienist, volunteer,
advocate, consultant, entrepreneur, and wine enthusiast.

She is a graduate of Old Dominion University, with a degree in Dental Hygiene,
and a minor in Psychology. She believes in lifelong learning, is a self-proclaimed
continuing education “geek”, and is passionate about helping bring patients to
total health. She is involved in community activities, and currently serves as
President of the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association.

During down time, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, and son,
Henry, as well as cooking, walking, and as much beach time as possible.

Linda (Practice Administrator)


Linda grew up on Long Island and has worked in dental offices off and on since 1974 working for years as a dental assistant and later, after moving to Virginia Beach in 1995 as an office manager.
 
She has also held a real estate license and sold real estate on Long Island as well as managed several properties and condo complexes. Linda has a degree in accounting and as well as managing one dental practice for 19 years, she was also the practice accountant.
 
She likes meeting new people, dealing with the public and 'fixing' problems. Linda said that although she has only worked at Bright Life Dentistry for a short time what she enjoys most about working there is that after combining our offices we have become a wonderful team, all working well together with Dr. Amos as our leader. 
 
In her spare time, she enjoys visiting with her grown children and granddaughter Jordyn who is now in college in upstate NY, going to concerts, walking on the beach and listening to music and supporting local live bands and local venues.

Trish (Dental Assistant)


I earned my CDA at ODU in 1987.  I have been a chairside assistant for the past 33 years.  As a seasoned assistant I am happy to join Dr. Amos and the Bright Life Dentistry team!
I was born in WV and moved to Virginia Beach 34 years ago. I love spending time with my family, day hiking with my daughter in the mountains and riding motorcycle with my husband . I love the beach, concerts and cooking! My faith and church are an important part of my life.
I love being a dental assistant and caring for our patients. I want to make them feel comfortable and confident that they are in good hands and getting the best dental care. I want to autograph my work with excellence and put a smile on the our patients faces!
I love coming to the office and feeling like home with each staff member. I appreciate how everyone works together for the good of our patients and each other. I am proud to be working with such a nice group of women!

Nikki (Dental Assistant)


Nikki grew up in California and came to Virginia while she served in the Navy. She was a Nuclear Engineer on the U.S.S. Enterprise for 4 years. After getting out of the Navy and being a stay at home mom for a few  years, she decided to go back to school to work in the field she always loved. Dentistry. She graduated from Everest College in 2010 and has been working as a dental assistant for over 3 years. She enjoys helping patients obtain healthy, beautiful smiles.

Nikki is married and has 3 children. She loves spending time with the family at the kids soccer games or at Tae Kwon Do. She also loves hanging out at the beach or riding the roller coasters at Busch Gardens. Her dog, Slippers, helps keep life interesting.
